Dubai: In the United Arab Emirates, those who make eggs and chicken meat more expensive, the relevant ministry has warned that a fine of up to 200,000 dirhams can be imposed for violating the official price lists of poultry products. According to the Gulf newspaper “Emirate Al-Iyoum”, the Ministry of Economy of the United Arab Emirates has warned of strict action against traders and importers who do not adhere to the price list of poultry products, saying that the increase in the prices of eggs and chicken meat A minimum fine of 10,000 dirhams will be imposed, while repeated violations of the rates can be fined up to 2 lakh dirhams. The ministry will issue details of violations and fines through the media.

 

In this regard, the statement issued by the ministry said that a campaign will be conducted to ban the price list of eggs and chicken meat in the entire country, in this regard, a program of 300 investigations will be organized during Ramadan and after Eid-ul-Fitr. has been given, under which raids will be conducted on commercial centers, cooperative societies, poultry and egg dealers, and poultry shops. The ministry has directed the importers and retailers not to sell poultry products at more than the fixed price. A fine will be imposed on the perpetrators.
