WhatsApp, the mobile application used for messaging, will soon introduce a ‘picture to picture’ feature for iPhone users, under which they will be able to use their mobile phones during video calls, they announced in San Francisco.
On behalf of WhatsApp, this feature was already available on Android, but iOS users were missing it, in December last year, the management announced the preparation of the ‘picture to picture’ feature.
According to the technology monitoring site, this feature is being introduced in a phased manner by the company.
After this feature, iOS users will be able to perform other tasks on the mobile while on the video call and will also get the facility to minimize the chat window. In addition, chat with other users while group or send photos, and important documents to any friend.
Also, the company will allow iOS users to create avatars as their profile photos.
Picture to Picture feature will be available on WhatsApp version 23.3.77 for iOS users.
